I would like to say welcome to all the new students that have joined the schools following our recent open day. If you haven’t already done so, please take a few moments to introduce yourself to the other students. It is by working with your fellow students that you not only achieve the best results but have the most satisfaction from your training. Having made sure that I met all the new students personally, I’m happy to say that I think that everyone will fit in well.

 

I have mentioned this before, but you should take the time to study the etiquette and the background to the art. Never forget that Wing Tsun is a noble art; it only exists if you act in a way that reflects it. Many people can (and do) dumb down the martial arts, but only few raise it up to higher levels. Physical prowess, power, speed and aggression mean nothing if you cannot conduct yourself with dignity and honour.
