Good morning.

Just a quick note to say that im looking forward to teaching the seminar on Chi-Sau this weekend. There will be a lot of information to cover, and I will also be relating it to its practical applications. As always, I will be teaching the theory that is needed to put it in context and make it effective.

Chi-Sau training can be one of the most draining parts of the Wing Tsun system (just ask my seniors who did 8 hours of training of this with me on Saturday), but if it is done correctly I also believe it is one of the most rewarding. Not only can it be both dynamic and slick, but its one of the rare exercises where you can actually see and feel the progression. Every single time you do it (with the proper guidance of course) you are constantly improving your skill. I will also be teaching how to apply your Wing Tsun techniques blindfolded and this will constitute part of the training. This is developing the ability to be able to defend yourself if attacked in poor visibility (i.e. at night) or in situations where something has got into your eyes. This may or may not be a rare occurrence, but it is certainly an important skill to have.

Every person that attends the seminar will come out a much better practitioner with a greater understanding of both the Wing Tsun system and how their body works. This is what I can promise to you as a master.
