Good afternoon.

It was lovely to see so many people at the seminar yesterday. After going through the theory of Biu Jee and its distinctive position in the Wing Tsun system we started on the applications of the forms, and applying its special force. This force in the Biu Jee is completely different to anything taught by other martial arts and allows you to increase your power and striking power by up to 50% over your own body level.

By the end of the evening there were many pages written and a lot of tired, hot people - but all smiling. It was also nice to see that Si-Mei Della’s classes are already starting to build, only 3 days after opening, with her first student also attended the seminar.

I have just one further point to add to my previous post which I think is of interest. A few years ago my Sifu gave me a present of a t-shirt. Ostensibly it was a normal t-shirt of a beige colour and a standard fit. However, it depicted some of the ancient Huno (for those interested in history this is one of the founding races that came to Hungary from Mongolia in around the 10th Century (also know as the Onugars). The various books by Gyula László provide an excellent discourse on this topic and are well worth a read). Furthermore it showed not just the essence of this ancient race, but of Wing Tsun as well; for on it were two main characters – a warrior and a priest. As my previous blogs have alluded to, this is a particular feature of the Wing Tsun system – spiritual understanding as well as fighting ability.

It is interesting that the first time that I ever wore this t-shirt was on the day that this exceptional event occurred…
