Good evening.

This weekend saw our schools host an open day in Bromley High Street. If I get the chance I will talk more about his at a later date. However, what I would like to briefly mention is the teachers and helpers from the schools that took part to make this day possible.

Having personally held numerous open days in the past I know they are both extremely rewarding and extremely tiring. However, what made this particularly testing were the weather conditions; Saturday saw the coldest weather we have had for 10 years. During the week the newspapers were even reporting that the UK was colder than some parts of the Antarctic! To put this in perspective the assistants and teachers were on the high street from 8am and did not leave until after 6pm in the evening – then going back to do the same the next day. Not only this, but every one of them took part cheerfully with a smile on their face. When people ask what actually is Chinese Kung Fu I can tell you this: it is doing what other people are not prepared to do. No matter the hardships you keep going and no matter what happen you still smile…I would like to extend my personal thanks to these ‘warriors’.
