Good afternoon.

The dates for the rest of the seminars this year are now on the Seminars page. I gave the dates out for these events at the beginning of the year, but they have been added for ease of reference.

Good afternoon.

I would like to welcome the students that joined after attending the recent introduction in the Dulwich School. It was a pleasure to meet all the students that attended – having spoken to each one of them personally I can honestly say that I think they have every chance of making their training a success. It’s also particularly nice when you meet a group of enthusiastic and positive people who have a desire to learn the art.

Good morning.

I would like to say thank you to all the people that took part in yesterday’s Dulwich Park fair. A thank you should also go to those people who kept their fingers crossed about the weather as it turned about to be lovely day, if only a trifle chilly towards the end.

I was very pleased with the students and instructors who took part in the demonstrations. For those that weren’t able to attend, we showed three demonstrations during the afternoon, which attracted a large audience. What pleased me the most was that the students were the model of professionalism; they kept going despite the set ...

Good morning.

Just to confirm the teachers and I will be taking part as planned in the Dulwich Park Fair. It is a big community event and promises to be a fun day, with a whole range of attractions, from otters and donkey rides to live music and face painting along with a variety of market stalls.

As mentioned previously, our schools will have a tent, which will be located by the main entrance near Dulwich Picture Gallery. We will also be giving demonstrations in the main arena throughout the day. I do hope you have the chance to visit the fair; please feel free to come and introduce yourself to our teachers. We do very much welcome anyone interested in knowing more about Chinese martial arts, regardless of prior experience.

Good morning.

As promised, I will say a few words about the recent Chum Kiu seminar. I apologise again for not writing sooner, but May is proving to be an exceedingly busy month for me.

Firstly, however, I would like to offer my congratulations to those students that achieved a successfully grading. I will say more about this at a later date.

For those that couldn’t attend the seminar (and a reminder to those that did) I will give a quick précis: the seminar essentially covered in detail each part of the form. Every element was broken down and practiced independently. Crucially it was then put in context, both with the approp ...

Meet the teachers
Si-Fu's Blog By Si- Fu onFriday, May 09, 2008
Good afternoon.

In a week on Sunday - the 18th May - the teachers and I will be at the Dulwich Park Fair. This is a big annual event which runs from 12pm- 6pm and is aimed at being both a fun day out and an event where the community comes together. We will be performing demonstrations throughout the day in the main arena, and it will also give the chance for people who are interested in knowing more about the Chinese art of Wing Tsun to come and speak to us. I will write more details when I know them, but we will have our own tent and I understand this will be near the main entrance to Dulwich Park, located close to Dulwich Picture Gallery.

For existing students, if you have friends or family who would like to know more abo ...
