Good afternoon.

Below are those who received awards at the recent Graduation. The photos will be in the gallery shortly. I will, of course, notify you when this happens.

As I mentioned previously, these aw ...

Good evening.

I must apologise for not writing much in the last two weeks. I’m afraid the aftermath of the Graduation, combined with the end of the year for Wing Tsun (and not to mention Christmas!) has meant that my time has been otherwise occupied.

Good morning.

I would like to wish everyone the very best on this special day. Aside from its religious significance, it is one of those rare days where we can actually stop and appreciate the people around us. Life is so fast moving nowadays that we hardly ever have a moment to concentrate on giving rather than receiving. Personally it is also one of only two days in the year that I don’t teach (although I do still try to get away for a quiet hour to train )

A thought should also go out to those that are alone this Christmas, for what ever reason. If you do get the chance to help there is never a better time than ...

Good morning.

Tomorrow is the day of the Graduation.  The final preparations are now under way. If you haven’t already obtained your ticket, please either drop into class tonight or call the school phone.

Im sure that this will be an event to remember.

Good morning.

I am very happy to say that the badges for the different Grading levels have finally arrived. I am particularly pleased as I wanted them in time for the Graduation. It is something that I have been trying to arrange for over two years, but was one of those things that kept getting put back. A major reason for this is that it was hard to get the exact colours required, which I believe is important.

Not only do the badges represent the level achieved, but they also have both traditional and spiritual significance. I will explain more about this on another occasion, but I would really like every student to wear the badges for their respective level. The colours for each level are on the

Good afternoon.

The pictures from the Chi Sau seminar are now in the gallery. I’m informed by the photographer that some of the photos are not quite up to the usual high standard due to the heat and humidity in the room. But I think this is a fair sacrifice for all the hard training and the results achieved.

There are also some photos from my recent trip to India and Bhutan. This was a pleasant change as it is quite rare that I get the chance to take any photos when I am abroad due to pressing engagements etc. They are both such special countries in completely different ways that I hope that photos are able to give a brief insight into their cultures. If ...

Questionnaires
Si-Fu's Blog By Si- Fu onThursday, December 06, 2007
Good morning.

For those students who haven’t brought back their seminar questionnaire forms (and I know a lot of you have) please ensure that they are filled in and put in the box provided by early next week. In order to help our students plan their time, the instructors and myself are aiming to be able to announce the dates of the forthcoming seminars by the restart of classes in the New Year.

In the last two years I have taught over 10 seminars and during this time I have covered almost all the topics that I felt was needed for the students – from defence against weapons to Biu Jee and Chi-Gerk. I am, therefore, happy to receive feedback from the students as to which topic they feel would benefit them the most in 2008. I also feel I ...
